SYNOPSIS |
"캄보디아의 앙코르왓 그 안의 타프롬 사원…
그 안의 시간의 흐름에 따른 변화를 그려보고 싶었다.
이른 아침 자연의 흔적
청소하는 사람들
그리고 몇 십 년간 무보수로 청소하는 할아버지…
그리고 자신을 남기기 위하여 사진을 찍는 사람들…
오버랩을 이용해 이런 모습을 그려보았다."
앙코르와트의 평화로운 정경을 한 폭의 사진처럼 담아낸 수채화 같은 작품. 이중노출되는 이미지들이 시간의 추이와 흔적을 더듬는다. (이강옥)
"Angkor Wat in Cambodia, temple ‘Taprom’ is there…
I want to describe the change with the flow of time.
A trace of nature in the early morning, cleaning people, and an old man who has worked for several decades without pay…
And people who photograph themselves to leave their traces behind…
I picture that scene with a dissolve."
A film like a watercolor painting as if we take pictures of peaceful Angkor Wat. The images of double exposure feel after the traces of time.
